Hi all!! How is everybody? I haven't been on xanga lately, but i do read your posts! Poor @roadlesstaken about moving. I think in some situations being naive is good... But in this case... You couldn't know it either... Anyway! I have celebrated my birthday last Saturday 24 March. My actual birthday is 2nd of April. And on that day i won't even be in town; i'll be on duty. So i shifted it 1 week before the actual day.. Aaawww, i have to work on my own birthday!  Nevertheless it was a great day! My parents helped me cook some meals, aaawww, thank you soo much! If it weren't for them, my guests would be starving then! And as always we have a lot of food. My bf's mum made one dish too. And it was the first BBQ of this year too! Bit cold, we made sate and yum yum it was nice! But a hell of a job putting on the stick... Coz we had to do it in some special way. I will post some pics in another entry (not on this laptop).

Guys! or Girls! I need your help. I'll be going on a roadtrip with Michael (my bf). We will be going to West-side of USA flying of 24 May.. (we hope). Starting in San Francisco then head to Yosemite park, Death Valley, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, San Diego and finally end up in Los Angeles. Hmm.. i hope i didn't miss out anything. These are the places we wanna go to. We haven't sorted out the days and nights though. But for San Fransisco... We're thinking about staying for 3 nights... From what i read, there's quite alot of things to do in SF... @Sonychak... And those others living in SF, what do you think? We can have a meet up! We're going to book a hotel in SF. All others... we just drive go to the place and find a hotel. Or do you think it's not a good idea? I have no idea about the distance between all those places... Anyone? If those of you wanna help us guide around your hometown, it'll be great! Oh and before i forget, the trip will be only for 2,5 weeks... (short?)

Goodmorning all! It's still morning here. By the time i finish this blog it'll be noon. Am at the airport coz my boss told me so. I've been here from 7am until now, but i'm almost done! Am here until 3pm =D But it's boring i can tell ya. I've got nothing to do. Tried to take a nap, but i wasn't the only one in the room... There was this guy and he snores very loud! I couldn't sleep and decided to leave the room asap. Speaking of the devil. The guy just left, lol!

I've been on some trips lately. And am still enjoying it, though, maybe i'm experiencing my down period now. As i am wondering if this is really what i want to do for the rest of my life.... I do like it and i love my job. But hmmm... Oh well, i think it's just this moment, i'll be fine in a few days/weeks/months .

After Dubai i had a flight to Curacao - Dutch Caribbean. I met an old colleague, and was quite happy that i had someone i do know. Curacao is... An island to relax. There's not much to do (i didn't do much research on the island). The only thing i wanted to see at Curacao was "Willemstad"... I wanted to see those colorful painted houses which i've only seen from my primary school teacher pictures. I was quite envy on the fact that she travelled there and did nice sightseeings during her travels. So i had quite "high" expectations about Curacao. And i was disappointed that it didn't meet my expectations about the island. The houses were nice to see, but that's it. And i was there on a Sunday, which means, shops are closed... They only open when there is a cruise ship coming in. And Willemstad is very small, i expected it to be bigger. Oh well.. I had fun with my colleagues. We walked all the way to Willemstad, which was quite a long walk; 45+min. Coz we walked the wrong direction. And walking under the burning sun while sweating is a good way to get easily tanned! haha. We took a cab back and chilled at the beach.

Paramaribo on the other hand is much nicer. We went on a sightseeing trip with around 12 people. It was really fun! Saw a lot of things and it's nice to eat the local food too. I looovveee the sate! Especially their peanut sauce! I bought the peanut sauce back home. Haven't opened it though, but i will! The smell was so strong, my whole suitcase smelled of it. And some mango's! Yum yum! Marinated sauce and some banana and casava chips too. That's the nice thing about my work; bring back local food.









Last week, i finished Europe trips.... This time to different places. But the weather in Europe isn't that great. Well... The places i went to were weather wise not that great. I had to "force" myself to go outside and have a looksie. 

Copenhagen! The place where prinses Victoria and her prins are married. On the first picture (left) you see the Royal Palace. We waited for the change of guard and while waiting we saw some cars coming out of the palace. And guess what, in one of the cars, we saw princess Victoria! And her husband was sitting next to her. I only saw a glimps of them.. Princess Victoria looks beautiful. 

Next trip on the scandinavian country is... Helsinki! Cold too... I wanted to buy hand gloves at the market, but too bad it wasn't there anymore =(. Strolled around some shops and saw this cute keychain! I just had to buy it. 

In my free days off; went to a place up North where i have lived; Makkum and Harlingen. I wanted to let my boyfriend see where i have lived; i like to tell him my childhood stories and let him see the place. We both enjoyed the trip, especially Michael who has never crossed the "Afsluitdijk". It makes me happy to see him happy. He's like a lil' kid sometimes, but that's what i also like about him .



We left quite late, therefore couldn't do much; it went dark quite fast. At Harlingen, we only went there for dinner. We ate fish at a nice restaurant called "De Tjotter". Really fresh fresh fish! I like the sea devil fish! Yum yum!!! We will be coming back for sure!

Hello all!!

It's been a long time since i've updated this blog. I won't say the same thing as an excuse, coz i always use the same excuses e.g: 'no time/busy'. And i haven't been keeping in touch with you all.

I've left the guy behind who wasn't that great to me. Actually, he is a bad boy. But fate brought me to my current boyfriend, Michael, whom i've met 7yrs ago, but no contact during those 7yrs. He's a very sweet and a good guy, very kindhearted. Nowadays it's hard to find such a person. I love him to bits! Actually he has what i want for a guy. And nah, i didn't have a list of the things a guy have to have... Erm.. well, maybe, like what all girls want is a guy who is honest, sweet and good hearted. Well... ok, i don't wanna generalize though.. We both went to Singapore and he met my friends and relatives. It's good to see that he gets along with my relatives and friends. They like him and are very happy for me. He's very good to my family too. Am happy that i've bumped into him, though it took 7yrs.

October i've been very busy with training, one whole month... Instead of 6 weeks. It has been a tough training; waking up around 6am, sometimes at 5am due to exam and i wanted to do some last minute study. Finish training at around 4.30pm sometimes earlier and sometimes at 5pm. Drive back home (traffic jam >___<), eat dinner and go back to study again. And that for around 4 weeks. But i'm happy i've passed the training; i can fly around again! Intercontinental and European flights. *Yeah*! =D During the training i had a training flight to Beijing (China). It was a good flight and i've met up with my ex Peter. Yes, we still keep in touch with eachother, and he still is in love with me. Though, i've made clear to him it's impossible and that i have a boyfriend. We went to the 'Great Wall', coz my colleague wanted to see it.

Last Sunday i had my real real flight intercontinentally to Dubai. And there i've met Dinu!!!! =D My first "encounter" with a xangarian! Woohoo!!!!! =D Though we've only met for  i think around 5+min. as Dinu needed to finish work at office as he came back from Abu Dhabi and i... Well, continued sleeping. Too bad we couldn't meet up longer, i wouldn't mind having some coffee/tea with him. But i had a midnight flight back to Amsterdam too, so maybe it was just good, a short short very short meet up. Dinu is really a nice guy. He helped me plan my itinary in Dubai. Left a phone and a charger behind for me to use. Thanks you!!!!!!!!! I was quite tired after the night flight. And lucky i didn't fell asleep during my drive back home.

Anyway, hope this lil' update of mine is o-k after such a long time! And yea i know, i've only put a few pics! Woohoo!!! Maybe i've mastered the learning of selecting the most essential and important pictures? =P loL, nah, don't think so.

Am looking forward to the next visit with @deen29 , Dinu! For all other Xangarians, maybe we can meet up one day too! =D

Hiiiiiiiii!!!!!!

I know i haven't been updating my blog for ages. Busy with my life; my thoughts, work, family, love etc. etc. I'm gonna try to update my blog bit by bit now. At the moment i'm at Marseille (France), will be heading Warsaw this evening.

I've been taking a lot of photos (duh, i love photos!). But i won't be putting them all here. Too many photos, it'll take ages for me to update them on xanga. Erm... trying to.

I have been to Vienna with my sister for only 1 night and hmm... 1/2+ day on the 1st and 2nd of October 2010 (arrived 1st late eve). I went there for work and she tagged along. We woke up around 7am head for breakfast at 8am and headed out at 9am. I wanted to show her the Sisi Palace at Schönbrunn. We bought a Sisi ticket which allowed us to visit Schönbrunn, Hofburg; Imperial Apartments (Apartment of Emperor Franz Joseph and Elisabeth), Sisi Museum, Imperial Silver Collection aaaaannndddd Imperial Furniture Collection (ok, this one is really boring, unless you're very interested in furnitures). We've seen the national library, the Bundesgärten, the parlament, Stephansdom, the city centre (shops) of course; no time for shopping!! And we only made ONE pitstop at the Sachertorte hotel. This is what i really wanted to let my sis eat. The Sachertorte hotel is famous because of the Sachertorte where Vienna is famous for. We had to wait for quite a long time. While waiting i bought a biiiiggg Sachertorte, for our parents and brother. It's quite expensive €39,50, but it's worth the buy! I like good food and don't mind paying more for it. When it was our turn i ordered for us both, two Sachertorte cakes with whipped cream and a tea and coffee. Total around €15 - €20. My sis had paaaaiiiinnn from all the walking.. Duh, she was wearing heels AND she knows that whenever i go sightseeing i rarely make pit-stops. We headed back to the hotel as i had to change in my uniform. We haven't seen everything, but there will be a next time for sure =D. I've put my sister in business class, that's the best part of being a purser/senior! I can put my own family in business. Best part is... nobody is in business!! haha! =P All in all, she had fun.. It was a short trip for her, but worthwhile. And i guess for her, best thing is that she gets to sit in the flightdeck. She understands what my job is, not only coffee and tea! There's more than that. R-e-s-p-e-c-t to us she says.

Dilemma

I'm in a big dilemma... I don't know what to do. I'm in a Long Distance Relationship, which i thought it shouldn't be a big deal at all. But that was so naive of me to think like that. We're together for 5+ months now. And now the relationship is starting to go down very fast. Which is from my side. I haven't seen him for such a long time, i miss the physical touch, to go to someone when u need him or talk to. I don't know where to start, how this could happen, but i'm not that in love with him like few months ago. Whenever he text messages me, i don't feel the need to message him back. Or when he calls me, i don't feel the need to pick up the phone call or call him back. Or when he ask me to come online i'll tell him i don't wanna come online or i'll tell him i'm watching tv. I'm trying to find any excuses i guess, not to talk with him?! Whenever he's online i'm trying to avoid him as well by going offline or block him (yes i know i'm bad).

Lately i've been going out alot with my godbrother. Met alot of people, going to birthday parties etc.. etc.. you name it. Then i met a guy at a party, i'll call him Mr. K. I had alot of fun with him at the party and day before yesterday he told me his sister was giving a lil' concert (she plays violin) and if i wanna see that. He told me last minute, and since i had a big row with my bf on Messenger chat i thought, why not. ~*~ I needed some distraction ~*~ Off i went to The Hague where his sis was playing. I missed her lil' concert, in the end went to eat somewhere with Mr. K. And then had a drink elsewhere and another drink elsewhere. Then went back to his place, saw his sis, said hi, sis went home and there we were. To make it short, Mr.K promised me to play the guitar. Which he did, i told him to sing the song for me too. So there we were sitting on 1 chair together, he with guitar in his hands, singing and i'm listening. Anyway, u can guess what happend next. He started to kiss me, anaaaannnnddddd ... We kissed -__-" that's it, nothing else but kissing. I felt a huge guiltiness afterwards... which he saw...

To make this short. He fell asleep on the sofa with me in his arms... To be honest, it felt nice... He asked me to stay, coz i wanted to leave... Somehow i couldn't say no, and stayed.

He made breakfast for me this morning, which was sweet.. Then he had an appointment somewhere, we got in my car, he drove... After that i drove back home, alone. And was damn tired, almost fell asleep behind my steeringwheel... I should have learned from Alex aka Roadlesstaken. Sing in the car and record it.. 

I need to sleep now. Am tired + am on standby from 5am till 5pm. Fingers crossed that they don't call me up at 5am!

One last thing... Maybe you guys/girls can give me some advice? I know i'm the one who needs to do it. But some advice would be nice.
